Support Planning A Funeral

Having the correct support in place at a difficult moment may be really beneficial. In addition to the aid and support of family and loved ones, you can obtain a lot of help from us as your local funeral director in Blackwood & South Wales. We are a valuable source of knowledge as professionals at a time when everything might seem unclear.

As experienced professionals, we have helped many families deal through difficult times by assisting with many aspects of the arrangements for the service, all of which are included in our comprehensive planning service.

This may include:

A complimentary planning consultation in which we sit with you either at your home or in our office in which we discuss advice and information regarding how we can best help and support you through a very difficult time. You may already know the type of service you want, our compassionate directors will talk to you through the different options available such as cremation, burial or possibly an environmental ceremony.

We offer transportation of the deceased to our chapel of rest also. As well as this we also offer repatriation services if necessary. Our team will sort everything out so that loved ones can mourn at the service planned. Our staff will assist in arranging everything from flowers, music, service sheets, procession planning and much more.

We have a fleet of cars to choose from as we support you in tailoring the service. Along with the arrangements of headstones or memorials too. All of this plus more means we can support the grieving family and loved ones as much as we possibly can whilst still providing the very best ceremony we can for the deceased.

Using Our Private Chapel

We are honoured to be able to provide families with the option of holding private services in our Private Service Chapel. The chapel, which was built in 1886, has lately received an extensive yet sensitive refurbishment. Designed to provide the space and solitude that families and loved ones need at a ceremony.

The chapel is located on New Road near the Paddocks. Around 52 mourners can be accommodated in the chapel. It’s an appealing option for people who don’t want to attend a full church service or want a shorter session prior to commitment. It contains an organ and an integrated sound system that allows for the playing of favourite pieces of music during the service. If a non-religious environment is desired, the cross can be removed.

Choosing A Funeral Plan

The most substantial reason for investing in a funeral plan is for the sake of your loved ones and for peace of mind.

We are a certified agent of Perfect Choice Funeral Plans, a prearranged plan carried out by members of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD). With a Funeral Plan from Stanley J Nicholas Directors Ltd, you can be sure you won’t pay any extra for our direct services, and you may also add a contribution to third-party expenses that are beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed.
